I have been very fortunate to have attended Palmer College of Chiropractic for my Chiropractic education. Not only is it the “Fountainhead” of chiropractic and second largest chiropractic college (by enrollment), but it is the recipient of the most research grants from the National Institutes of Health in the U.S.
I had the opportunity to learn 5 techniques in the core curriculum, called “Palmer Package”, then to choose electives from an array of more than 10 other techniques.
From Davenport, Iowa, and neighbouring states, I was able to attend a multitude of seminars on technique and philosophy. This broad immersion in all things chiropractic gave me awareness of the types of chiropractic techniques available, and the chance to specialize in the techniques that best-suited me.
I continue to take seminars to broaden and deepen my knowledge base and provide better service and care to my patients and community.
